Ivan Bartolo, co-founder of 6PM recently trained Oakleigh Consultants in Agile Methodology.
A selection of consultants were trained in the 6 PM Delivery Framework consisting of Philosophy, Principles, People, Practice, Process, and Products.
The delivery principles are:
- Involve the User Representatives throughout the project life cycle is a must
- The delivery team must be empowered to take decisions
- Focus will be on frequent delivery of products and not activities
- The overall solution quality acceptance criteria is fitness for business
- An iterative and incremental delivery process to deliver an accurate holistic business solution
- All changes during development are reversible
- Technical and Business testing is integrated throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Requirements are baselined by the end of the definition phase
- A collaborative and co-operative approach is required between all identified stakeholders
